Studios, apartments and small flats under 50.000
euros in Berlin:
- These flats and apartments are mostly small, some
of them located on the outskirts. Outskirts means west, east, north and south
of City Center - but with good transport. Aprox. 30 minutes to City
Center.
- A 10% deposit is being required (which is
refundable).
- All purchases must be paid cash within 2 months
of obtaining the property title - if you don´t you will lose your
property and your deposit.
- Do not expect any miracles regarding quality of
the building - if you are looking for a top-renovated complex with a nice
façade, you´re on the wrong page!
- Flats will either be groundfloor or located in
the rear, garden or side wing, not in the front building (which can actually be
an advantage if the street is busy)
- Advantage: Rental yields can be higher due
to the low purchase price.
- Viewing of the apartment inside is most likely
not possible, either because the apartment is tenanted or because the keys are
not available. You´re free to visit the building, view the staircase, the
inside courtyard, check out of windows and roof is new and get an overall
impression - which is good enough to make a reasonably informed
decision.
- Liquidations are time-limited, so you must act
fast.
